Welcome to the ITD Conference, a global gathering of a diverse community committed to dialogue on equal footing and to advancing inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to transformative change. The event offers space to share knowledge, insights and questions, and to critically reflect on the evolving relationships between science, humanities, the arts and society. We invite both experienced ITD scholars and newcomers to immerse themselves in an open, collaborative environment, developing new partnerships and innovative approaches to today’s complex local and global challenges. Contributions are welcome from a wide range of fields, sectors and research cultures, including individual and team work, interprofessional initiatives, and projects spanning the Global North and South. We particularly encourage submissions that not only advance theory, but also critically reflect on ITD practice, including related fields such as citizen science, action research and participatory research.
